The Butterfly Foundation Facebook page is here for you to find out more about Butterfly, interact with us on issues and gather information to help you in your journey whether you are a friend, parent, partner or sufferer of an eating disorder. We aim to create an open and safe environment, where there is no stigma and criticism. So let’s make sure that we show mutual respect to each other. Everyone has the right to a point of view, but personal and aggressive attacks on other friends of Butterfly, or our organisations will be deleted from the page.
As this is a community space, we do not allow you to make contact with other people on our page without their permission.
Butterfly is on our Facebook page daily and we reserve the right to remove any posts or comments of content that:
- Appear to be spam
- Contains disparaging or defamatory remarks about other people or The Butterfly Foundation
- Is likely to offend other page friends
- Is obscene, abusive or insulting
- Contains potentially harmful or inappropriate advice
- Promotes or discusses methods of self-harm
